Statistical Programmer
- Business Unit: Pharsight Consulting Services (PCS)
- Reports to: Director, Biostatistics
- Location: Montreal, Canada
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop SAS program codes to produce analysis datasets (e.g. SAS transport files, define.xml) and analyses specified in the statistical analysis plan (SAP), including the creation of safety tables, figures and listings
- Perform quality control (QC) of SAS programs written by other scientists and programmers
- Create CDISC compliant datasets to support regulatory submission of PK and safety data
- Perform programming and statistical analysis in support of sponsor ad hoc requests
- Ensure that work is delivered on time and within budget in order to achieve business results
Education, Training and Expertise:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would include:
- B.Sc., M.Sc. (or equivalent) in a specialty area such as Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Advanced training and certification in SAS programming is strongly recommended
- Minimum five years of experience in writing SAS codes, creating tables, figures and listings in support of various phases of drug development
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled user of advanced statistical analysis and data mining software such as SAS and S-PLUS
- Works well independently as well as part of a team
- Independently performs analyses with minimal supervisor review and modification

- Percentage of travel: < 10%
