Scientist/Modeler
Pharsight is currently seeking qualified candidates for a position on our global Pharsight Consulting Services (PCS) team. Pharsight PCS is an established global team of scientific, clinical and technical experts dedicated to using model-based drug development (MBDD) to strengthen the quality, visibility, and value of critical development decisions. Following a project-based, collaborative consulting model, our internationally renowned scientists, modelers and biostatisticians help pharmaceutical companies develop drugs in all therapeutic areas more quickly, efficiently, and successfully.
Positions require a PhD or MD equivalent and industry experience in Clinical Pharmacology, Mathematics, Decision Science, Biostatistics, Medical Informatics and Chemical Engineering translate well in this field.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in areas such as mathematical modeling and simulation, drug development, population pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, scientific programming, and statistical modeling.
Advanced proficiency with pharmacometric/statistical software tools such as S-PLUS or SAS, NONMEM, Trial Simulator or other simulation software is a prerequisite, as well as superior verbal and written communication skills.
