The following describe the minimum and recommended system requirements, and software requirements, to run Pharsight Trial Simulator.
Trial Simulator saves simulation results in a binary file or in Microsoft® Jet databases. In the latter case, Trial Simulator uses the Microsoft® Jet engine to run queries on the data. Jet databases use the same format as Microsoft® Access databases. The Access database requires approximately 0.3 KB for every dose or observation stored. This includes temporary space needed to run queries and store intermediate results. Saving simulation results to a binary file requires significantly less disk space.
Trial Simulator works with a suite of software applications to simulate studies, and to analyze and save results. Trial Simulator relies on third party tools to share files across this suite, and to display user documentation.
