Using WinNonlin® Validation Suite™

These instructions are for the WinNonlin 5.0.1 Validation Suite. The WinNonlin Validation Suite version 1.1 is extremely similar.

The following steps illustrate a typical validation run using the WinNonlin 5.0.1 Validation Suite.

  1. On a machine that has both WinNonlin 5.0.1 and the WinNonlin 5.0.1 Validation Suite installed: launch the WinNonlin 5.0.1 Validation Suite from the Windows® Start menu.

  2. Select the directory to contain validation output in the Validation Suite Start tab.

  3. Select the tests to run on the Validation Suite Tests tab.

     

  4. Click Start Validation to launch WinNonlin, generate output and compare results to standard, pre-validated data.

  5. After the validation run is complete, click the Next button to set up a validation report. Select the document template to use. The template can include pre-defined formats, text and graphics. Select a text string, if any, that indicates the location inside the template at which report content should be inserted. Click Generate Report to launch Microsoft® Word and create the report.
