WinNonMix® Requirements

The following system configuration is needed for WinNonMix®.

Minimum Requirements

  • Pentium® II 266 MHz or better
  • 70 MB of hard disk space
  • 256 MB of RAM 
  • Windows® 98, Windows® NT 4.0 (with NT Service Pack 3 (build 1381) or later applied), or Windows® 2000

IMPORTANT: WinNonMix requires, but does not include, a FORTRAN compiler. Supported compiler versions are: Compaq Visual Fortran™ version 6.5 and higher.

Recommended Requirements

  • Pentium® 500 MHz (ideally Pentium® 700 MHz +)
  • Microsoft Internet (IE) 5 or higher
  • 256 MB RAM (ideally 256 MB RAM+)
  • Microsoft Windows® 2000 or XP
  • 150 MB free HD space

Data Access Requirements for WinNonMix Enterprise

Supported data sources for the Enterprise Edition include:

  • Any row-oriented data source that has an ODBC driver accessed via the latest version of Microsoft’s® Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) API.
  • Remote Oracle 7.3 and later databases via an Oracle-supplied ODBC driver and Oracle data connectivity software.
  • SAS (v. 6.12 and 7.0) via a SAS-supplied ODBC driver for both remote and local access.
  • Commercial clinical and laboratory data management systems, including LIMS products, via Custom Query Builder wizards supplied by Pharsight®.
